Dr. David Yankana
Pastor David was born and raised in the island of Trinidad. He accepted the Lord at an tender age of 10 years old. Shortly thereafter, he began working in many facets of ministry. Pastor David graduated with an Associate Degree from New Testament Church of God Bible College in Trinidad W.I. Heeding the call of God upon His life for ministry, Pastor David, along with his wife, Angie and their two daughters, Ruth and Rebecca migrated from Trinidad W.I. to New York City on October 1998.
He also completed Pastoral studies with the Church of God in Christ, (G.O.G.I.C.) and is an ordained Elder with this ministry. Upon leaving Trinidad, He was an ordained Pastor with Abundant Life Ministries, the church in which he served for 13 years. He also served as an assistant Pastor at Beacon Tabernacle Ministries, Queens, NY for nine years.
In the month of February 2007, God spoke to Pastor David to launch out in Ministry. It was with much prayer, Kingdom Life Ministries; a name ordained by God was birthed. Pastor Yankana has seen the fulfillment of Ephesians 3:20 in his life – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worked in us.”

In the year 2010, the Lord spoke to Pastor David to leave his secular job which was very demanding of him and progress to full time ministry. It was a difficult decision to make at the time, but he held to the word of God never looking back and now seeing the fulfillment of God’s promises.
In Pursuit of fulfilling God’s calling at Kingdom Life Ministries, Pastor David engaged himself in biblical studies, upon which he became an:
· Ordained Chaplain with Anointed by God Chaplains and NY Regional Police. (April 2011.)
· Ordained Chaplain with L.A.C.A. State of New York. (June 2013)
· The Degree of Diploma & Certificate Course, with Academy of Universal Global Peace. (Dec. 2008)
· The Degree of Master of Theology & Church Min. with Academy of Universal Global Peace. (Dec. 2009)
· The Degree of Doctor of Divinity, with Academy of Universal Global Peace. (Sept. 2011)
· The Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, with Academy of Universal Global Peace. (May 2012)
· Ordained Director & Peace Ambassador with A.U.G.P. & Global Compact with the United Nations.(2013)
Pastor David Yankana has a tremendous passion for God’s word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor David Yankana, obediently fulfills his calling as the Senior Pastor of Kingdom Life Ministries.
His vision is uncompromisingly clear, with one central principle; to build and develop a kingdom of empowered people for God. Pastor David Yankana have been taking the gospel national and to international communities of the world. Holding firmly to the commissioned mandate in Luke 9:2, “He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick”.
